Why is the thickness of the 2 in leveling lift kit less than 2 inches?
Due to the suspension geometry of the vehicle, a leveling lift kit does not need to be a full 2 inches thick in order to provide a 2-inch lift. The same principle applies to other sizes of leveling lift kits as well.
